The view of the world and its inhabitants through the lens of the camera differs from the view through the lens of the eye. It sees more. A frozen moment in time exposes intricacies overlooked by visual senses. Hope, despair, joy and sadness are but a few emotions that can be captured for eternity.

The artist’s portfolio introduces his world of street photography. The venues are commonplace. The compositions unique. In many, the subjects are unaware the lens is focused upon them producing powerful portrayals. The viewer’s imagination becomes the reality of what transpired at the click of the shutter.

Photography by Norman is featured on covers of magazines and in publications of commerce. He is an official photographer for the annual “Stair Climb of Tall Buildings” sponsored by the YMCA and a volunteer photographer for the American Lung Association, Justice in Aging, The Compton Initiative and Giving Youth Opportunities.
